I-140 Approval notice

Hi,
I just checked my case and it says
"This case has been approved on 7/24/2000.A note will be sent by mail"
RD 9/22/1999
RFE 5/20/2000
RFE rec. 6/15/2000
Request for CP sent on 7/6/2000
AD 7/22/2000

My question is : Do they usually say that the case is approved for CP.. and if so,.. ,based on the message above, does this mean that my case was not approved for CP and I have to file 824

The phone message does not say anthing like for CP or for AOS. It just says it has been approved. It does not even say what has been approved. You should know that the number you are entering is for your I-140 and hence your I-140 is approved.
