Can change AOS/CP option on unapproved I-140?

Hi all,

I checked the previous discussions for this particular topic but couldn't find any relevant entries so pardon me if this question has been answered before.

If my I-140 is not yet approved, is it possible to change the AOS/CP option ?

Relevant info
I-140 : filed with NSC 6/26/00.

Another question is regarding I-140 dates - NSC I-140 dates are 8/14/00 ? Does that mean they already have started processing my I-140 and that it should be done in 60-75 days as they say ? Can info about my I-140 be obtained by calling the NSC's hotline ?

I forgot to mention that I know that withdrawing and refiling the I-140 is an option but I was wondering about something like a letter to the consulate or something to ask them to send the file for Consular processing.

YES !! you can amend/request your I-140 for CP if it is still not processed, Ask your Lawyer to send a letter to service centre with your Case NO
