I-140 and I-485 concurrent filing

Hi,
My PERM(EB2 category) got approved few months back and then I-140 was aplied in around April or May-2008 time frame.
I read on Immihelp that one can apply I -140 and I 485 simultaneously.
First question,
1. Is it true that I -140 and I -485 can be applied together?
2. If answer is yes, can I now aply for I -485 while I -140 status is pending?
3. What are different status for I-140 ? Currently My status is received and Pending when I check the status online.
4. I believe premium processing for I-140 is not available, is that true?

1. Is it true that I -140 and I -485 can be applied together?
Yes, but only if your priority date (labor filing date) is current. As of the October bulletin, EB2 India cutoff date is in 03 so you can't apply for I-485 yet.

2. If answer is yes, can I now aply for I -485 while I -140 status is pending?
Answered above.

3. What are different status for I-140 ? Currently My status is received and Pending when I check the status online.
The next status is either RFE, intent to deny or approval.

4. I believe premium processing for I-140 is not available, is that true?
Yes. The only people that can use premium processing for I-140 are ones that are in their 6th year of the H1-B and satisfy a few other conditions.
