I-140 Receipt

Regarding I-140 Receipt.

Dear all,
Could someone tell me how long it takes to receive Receipt Date(RD) once you send your I-140 application to INS and who receives it(company or lawyer).

It takes about two weeks

I filed my I140 on Feb 12th and i got a notice from my attorney ( a copy of the receipt notice) on 22nd feb. The receipt date was Feb 14th.

SO if it is more than two weeks, talk to ur attorney. your attorney will first get it and he should forward a copy of the notice for ur records.
