:x Wrong pd on the I-140 approval::
Immihelp or gurus,

My pd according to Labor certification is Sep 20 1999(EB2) and I filed for I 140 in Feb 2000 at VSC. Got approval notice from VSC with wrong PD as Feb 11, 2000(donot know where in the world they got this date)

1- What is the best way to get a corrected copy from VSC?

2- How much time ~ it takes?

Its a big Pain in the A$%% to get it corrected it usually takes month. If yours has been approved for CP then they will transfer the file to NVC and you will be delayed by 2 months.

Act immediatly and get it corrected.

My file is already passed NVC and reached consulate.

- When we request for correction, are we talking about file coming back to INS from consulate via NVC?

- Approximate time for getting rectified I140 in this scenario?

- What is the best way to conatct INS (Call, call, and call......or letter of fax). More info is appreciated.

hi,
i need urgent help . by mistake in my I140 the date of birth is incorrect. during my I485 processing (which got correct birth date) the INS send me a lettr abot the birth date. i checked the I140 and found by birth date is wrong.wht i need to do now? can anyone plese help me solving this.??
