When can one apply for EAD?

Hi,

My I-140 is pending approval. Do I need to wait for its approval before applying for the EAD for my spouse?

You can only apply EAD with I-485. After approval of I-140,if your priority date is current you can apply I-485. What is you priority date?

My PD is 02/12/2001. BTW, how long does it take to get EAD after filing I-485? I'm in CSC area.

EAD

If you are in EB3 than you have to wait till your PD becomes current. If you are in EB2 that it is current. Usually it takes 30-90 Days to get the EAD
