Sponsoring L1B on Permanent Residency

I hope to find an answer to help an employee out.

She's on a L1B visa. Will there be an issue if there is a family relationship between her and the corporate officer of the company ?? Also, where can I go to research on the web on what to do and not do? I am looking for some guides.

Shouldn't be an issue if the person qualifies for the L1b and all documents are genuine.
