i am on H1B with I-140 approval,my H1B is about to expire on June 30 and currently i am in between assignments and
because of recession my employer(Company A) is not ready to file my extension,(here till now i utilized 4 yrs of my regular H1B period)
Now here are my questions:
Q1)If i want to stay with Company A and won't find any Assignment by june 30, What are my options ?
Q2 ) If i want to stay again with Company A,And If i take a break to go to india, Will my I-140
will be valid after June 30 If i continue later with my current employer (If he file H1 later(old H1 continuation))?
(As obviously employer won't revoke I-140)
Q3) Is it fine to start filing H1B with company B (under these recession condition before June 30)?
H1B : Expiry date : June 2009
I-140 Approval date : January 2008
6th yr H1B date : April 04 2011
