Hi All,
I needed your kind advice on this current situation of mine.
In all i have close to 15 years work ex (12.5 years in US itself). I have an approved I-140 with a Priority Date of 5/2012 in EB2 from my current employer. The current visa bulletin for EB2 is at 5/2009 so based on the current backlog, it should take approximately 3+ more years before i get my GC (already waited 7+ years now). I am keen on switching my job to get a good hike. The hike at my current employer has been very modest so far.
1. Do you think it makes sense for me to be where i am right now and stay the next 3 years at my current employer so that i get my GC without any hassles of paperwork? OR
2. Do you think I should go for a job switch, risk filing the paperwork all over again and port the PD from my current employer (that all with a good hike from job switch)?
What do you guys recommend based on my current situation? What would make more sense for me?
Thanks in advance for your kind replies,
SM
