I-140: Dependents are outside USA

Hello
I am on L1A visa, my company is willing to file GC on EB1 category. My dependents are right now in India and they are planning to join me after 2 months. Can I ask my company to file I-140 when my dependents are in India or should I have to wait until they enter US?

I also heard that I-485 can be filed along with I-140 would it possible in my case?

You can file I-485 along with I-140 in EB1 category.

Your dependents can file their I-485 when they come to the US, as long as you maintain L1 status until then.
