Here is the scenario. Company A filed for labor in 2007 - approved. Filled 140 - Approved. Laid off in 2009. Person is working in Company B, 3 years left on H1B. Now if the Company A hires him back will the previous 140 will still be valid? And, the person can start from where he left? Considering he goes back to a very similar role/job title?

If company A has not revoked the I140, it remains valid and the PD remains valid too. He can continue tith everything as if nothing had happened and extend/transfer the H1b with company A
