I-140 Outside normal processing time

Hi, my I-140 priority date is last week of May 2020 buy USCIS status still says "Case was received". I also filed AOS and EAD on last week of October. In order to get EAD, does the I-140 need to be approved? For I-140, do I need to premium processing because it is outside of normal processing time?

which category your 140 is filed ?

PS2015: Thank you for your reply. I 140 was based on 485 application (Employment based).
