Correction in Father's passport name before filing I-140

Hi All,

I am on L1-A visa and organization is filing Green Card soon.

I realized in my passport, my father's name: first and middle name has been combined wrongly. So, ideally it should be First Name<space>Middle Name<space><<Last Name>>.

However, it shows as FirstNameMiddleName<<space>>Last Name. My Birth Certificate has his name correct with the split.

So had a question: Should I go ahead and have my Indian passport re-issued with this change? (before filing I-140/I-485).

Any experience around this or guidance will be a great help. (as I was thinking exact tally of names should be there...or is it not an issue?)

you should probably talk to ur lawyers. See if affidavit will suffice. My 2 cents.
