Hello:
I have an EB-1A petition in play since July 2010. There has been a recent and important development in my professional life, which substantially qualifies me for one more EB-1A criteria "Evidence of published material in professional publications written by others about the alien's work in the academic field"
However, my lawyer tells me there is no way to add to an existing filed petition. We have to wait for an RFE or otherwise adverse decision to file new supporting documents.
This appears incorrect to me. There must be a provision for appending to an existing petition, especially when new, weighty evidence comes available.
Could anyone on this forum help me here?
