Our J1 status is valid until Dec 2023. We plan to apply for a green card under the EB1-A category, and our J1 waiver is currently in process. I have some questions regarding it, and they are as follows:
1. What time does it take to get the EAD after your I-140 is approved? Does EAD arrive after the approval of I-485?
2. What are the travel restrictions if I apply for I-140 but am still on J1-visa? For example, can I travel to India if my I-140 gets approved and I am still on a J1 visa?
