My I-140 is approved and want to know if I can change job to another company in another state now. But am already in my 7th year extension of H1B with current company.
1. So would the new company be able to re-apply for my 7th year of H1B and then start the GC process from scratch ...while porting the PD ?
2. Or would i have to go out of the country for an year before a new company can apply for a fresh H1B?
3. If answer is no for question 1 above, then do I have to wait till PD becomes current and I-485 is applied before I can change jobs?
