Applying I-140 on F1 Status

Hi,

I'm in F1 Status.
In Future employment process, i got my labor approved.
Now, can i apply for I-140 without H1B.

Please suggest.

Hi,

You can apply for I140 and it may be approved also. Subsequently, you cannot ask for extension of your f1 based on your I140 once you have moved to H1b.
