Hi,
I studied Mechanical Engineering (internationally) in my undergrad, worked for 2 years (internationally) as an Engineer, following which I completed my MBA in the US, and started working in Marketing since the last five years in the same company. I had three different responsibilities within this five year period in the same company.
I applied for GC during my third job. Hence the job description for my current job, and the description of the first job I ever had in my current company are different.
Labor Cert just got approved, and now I am being asked to get previous employment verification letters (from previous employers) related to "Marketing". However since I was an Engineer, I have very little Marketing related experience.
Shouldn't they be asking me about my first and second jobs (which were in Marketing already)? Because those are really the ones that gave me the real skills that I'm using in my current job. Of course along with the skills I gained from my MBA...
Anyone with similar experience?
Thanks,
Ozzy
