221g White Slip -Delay due to admin processing

Hello,

I had my interview done on the 5th of oct 2012 in the Mumbai US consulate and everything went on well. I signed the DS 230 and took the oath. The interviewer even told me congratulation you can travel America anytime soon and right after that she looked on her computer and told me that there is some delay from the consulate and they will get back to me within 1 week and I will have to mail my passport for the stamping. When I asked is there something wrong or have I missed any documents she said nothing is wrong with my documents and they will get back within a week but now its been 2 weeks and I have'nt heard anything from them yet. When I called the consulate they said my case is not in admin review and they might get back to me soon. I dont know what to do as my wife has filed for my immigration and its been 9 months now. Its really affecting my personal life and we cant afford to stay away for this long. Please let me know what to do?
They handed me a white 221g form and circled on the section which says we are carring out an administrative work and will get back once its done. Should I contact NVC or USCIS? Please let me know as soon as possible.

221g white Kolkata

I had my interview in Kolkata on the 18th of november. Didn't really get many questions. The VO ended up saying that "your visa has been approved pending one minor clarification. Please sit down. Someone will call your name". Ended up waiting for 2 hours which was followed by another guy calling up and asking all info such as fathers name, mothers name, DOB, identification marks etc. He handed a white slip (221g) and ticked "admin processing". He asked me to submit my Passport and check on the status after two weeks. No updates yet.
