IR-2 Visa Being Processed

I got an email from NVC that they have all the required documents and I should just be waiting for an interview date. I'm only 18, but I'm wondering how long it will take for the interview letter to get here. Once I have the appointment letter, and if ever I do pass the interview, how soon can I leave for the US?
