Hi All,
This is my 1st post & let me explain my case, I came us in March 2013 on h4 visa, I applied for change of Status of visa to H1.
After applying I went back in Apr 2013 to India as I was still working with my India employer. I got H1 approval but a RFE for i94. So I resinged & came back in Aug & replied for RFE with premium processing.
I got the H1 but they did not covert the status yet & requested me to go to Mumbai consulate for stamping.
Now there is also a metioned about I 824 form as :--
"If the worker will apply for a visa at a consulate other than mentioned above ( ie mumbai) , the petition should file Form I 824, Application for action on an Approved application or Petition, to request us to notify the new consulate."
Can someone pls share any experience on this kind of case ? As I am in US now Mexico would be better option for me.
