I'm due to move in a few weeks and visa is in my maiden name. I'm hoping someone might know if I should change my name in my passport before I move to have GC and SS in my married name or wait until I have the conditions removed? Please help

Your Green Card will be issued in your maiden name, since your visa paperwork was submitted in your maiden name. Your first step to do a name change is to submit I-90 form, with fee of $400+, to USCIS, after which you can proceed with SS name change. Waiting to have the cxonditions removed, 2 years after Green Card issued, will save you the I-90 fee, but is just putting off the hassle of changing everything else to your married name.
