IR-2 visa. Case file sent to embassy. College starts in August.
Hey,
I am a Bangladeshi and my stepmom is an US citizen. My case file has been sent to the US embassy. I was wondering how long can it take for the embassy to send me an interview date?
My brother is also an applicant but a certain document of his was lost and we had to resend it again, that's why his case has not been sent to the embassy yet. Does this has to do anything wit h my case's delayed decision? I got admitted to a university and my classes start on the end of august. Is there anything my agent/petitioner can do to let the embassy know of this? Can they email them or sth to make the process a little faster? Please let me know. It is very important. Thank you.
