Change of employment and H1B extension by consular processing
Hi,
Here's my situation - I work for Employer A, who sponsored my original H1B visa. This visa expired in Dec 2013 and I am right now NOT in the US. My total stay in the US was 4 years and 3 months under that visa. Now, I am looking for another job in the US and if I find an employer (let's say Employer B) who is willing to sponsor my H1B extension, can I get my H1B visa transfer and extension processed through the consular processing? That is, can I get my visa extended and transferred to my new company before coming back to the US? Am I eligible to do that?
