I am sorry if this has already been discussed. I thought my case was unique in a way so posting this topic after browsing few threads. If someone can help me here, it would be really great.
1. My priority date is october 2007. I have labour and I-140 approved (EB2). As per latest bulletin, my dates are current and I am eligible to file 485.
2. After approval of last 140 , the name of my employer changed due to internal acquistion. The name changed from ABC to XYZ.
Now based on consultation with few people, I have been told that first I need to file addendum to I-140 (cost $2200) for name change and then file 485.
Also, due to some personal issues, I need to go to India for a few months. So I was actually thinking that its better for me to go for counseller proceesing that to file 485 here.
here is what I wanted to know.
1) Is it possible for me to go for counseller processing considering my I-140 is already approved ?
2) what would be the process to get that started? Do I need to consult any immigration firm and take their services help ?
