I am a conditional resident and my status expires in April 2006, however i am outside of US now due to my husband missionary work abroad!
Before leaving the US i applied for re-entry permit (August 2005) due to the lawyer's advice and left abroard!
I have just found out that INS granted me re-entry permit from 12 Sept. 2005 till 23 April 2006(the time when my conditional residence expires)
I am very confused and don;t know what to do now, b/c i counted on the re-entry permit top be for 2 years and when the time comes to remove conditions I 751 FORM,
I will apply from the outside of US(by lawyer;s advice)
Well, now i loose everything after April 2006, if i don;t come to US before that day!
Please help me how to deal in this case,
how do i deal with it remaining outside of US?
