I am in the process of trying to file my parent's I-130s and have realized I put my mother's last name incorrectly on my DS-11 (US passport application) years ago. Will this cause problems when I file her I-130? I am using my certificate of naturalization as proof of citizenship and my birth certificate lists her correct last name as well as her marriage certificate. Do they crosscheck old forms for these things? If so, how do I correct her last name entered on my passport application?
