This is the case:
-I'm sponsoring my Mother from Vietnam and I'm a US citizen, my paperwork is at NVC right now, I submitted the I864EZ along w/ my latest Federal Income Tax return, proof of employment etc. to NVC last month
-Now is my Mom turn, as far concerned about her paperwork to NVC: My father died in March of 1975, we couldn't find his remain either (war time, he died during combat), VC won the war in Apr 1975, to make it short, My Mom doesn't have my Dad' dead certificate.
-My parents married in 1972, back then, they don't even go the court or local government to file for marriage certificate ----> no marriage certificate either (I'm have my Dad' last name, his name shown on my original birth certificate).
How can WE explain this "missing" marriage and dead certificate to NVC ? Please advise.
