Thanks much for the speedy response. So you're saying ignore the fact that I'm being directed to full out I-864W and submit the I-864? And if they request the I-864W after having filed the I-864, simply comply?

    Thanks.

nvc passed my case to consolate in malaysia

My question is... The nvc sent an email today saying they were done with my k1 petition and passed it to malaysia.(where my fiancé is). What is the next step?? Should I contact them or will they contact us?
Also , will they be asking for anything else... Or does everything get done at the nvc as far as proof of income, or a sponser??? Thankyou roxannarae

Fpr a K1 visa, the NVC is no longer involved after they forward to the appropriate Embassy or Consulate.

Your gal should receive instructions from the U.S. Embassy in Malaysia. If several weeks go by and she hears nothing, she should try to contact the Embassy to ask if she can proceed with pre-interview requirements.

It's taking the NVC up to 8 weeks to send correspondence regarding received approved petitions. And then, the first correspondence has been going to the beneficiary, abroad, in the form of a "Welcome" letter.

              Hello Ray,

I petitioned for my parents. Just got the NVC package. I have paid $120 fee on the website. However, I don't have the option to pay for the IV processing fee. The IV fee bill ($325 each) will show up a couple of weeks after you submit the DS-261 agent form.

                  Hi,
I am a principal applicant for employment based immigrant visa. I am already in the packet 3 stage, I placed my husband as following to join as my lawyer had instructed and agreed by the employer. The US Embassy consulate chosen for me is in Abu Dhabi since I am currently working here. My husband is working and living in the Philippines, my lawyer instructed me that once I have been issued my immigrant visa after my US embassy interview, I can change my husband's designation from following at a later date to FOLLOWING/ ACCOMPANYING IMMEDIATELY. However, my embassy consulate is in Abu Dhabi, and my husband could not have the interview in abu dhabi since he doesn't reside nor have a visa in abu dhabi. Here are the questions that are bothering me: (please help)
What are the steps I should do so that I can have my husband to accompany me immediately?
How to change the designation from following at a later date to following immediately?
How to change the US Embassy consulate from Abu Dhabi to Philippines for my husband so that he could have the interview in the Philippines instead??
How to pay and schedule his embassy interview?

                  Thank you

How you handle this depends on where the paperwork for your husband now resides. If the case is now at Abu Dhabi, you should send duplicate letters t both the Abu Dhabi U.S. Embassy and the Manila U.S. Embassy, asking Manila to accept processing of your husband's visa.

If the case is still at the National Visa Center, you must contact the NVC to ask assignment of your husband's processing to Manila, and provide proof that he is currently residing and legal in the Philippines.
