The people.on the phone will tell.you to wait to hear back or call back after 60 days from the.last date of correspondence. I applied mine July 2014 and still waiting

If NVC received your case yesterday ,give them a week and call them after for ur case number .. They say it takes 42 days to get a case number .. Don't wait call them every week

The phones lines are busy all the time and the wait time to call the NVC is over 20 minutes most times. Stop causing delay for everyone who actually needs to call them. You will get a response within the 42 days. Please do not call until at least 30 days or so. Do not call after one week!

They will give you at least 2 weeks and if you are stateside, you will not have the option to pick your date. You can reschedule for another date but I do not believe you can pick the date again unless you call and request some assistance for the interview.

Our case was approved Feb 15th 2015 and still no correspondence from NVC.

Got the case no but when I try to check, just something follow instruction received by nvc and did not show anything about my case

@ Joseph , did u hear anything from them after u got ur case no, look like we close to each other, u was approved Dec 31 and I was approved Jan 7.

If u have ur case number , go to nvc.state.gov pay the aos fees.. Then print out the cover page... I used the same cover page for both aos packet and supporting documents packet ... IV fees it takes a while to pay ... I already sent both my documents March 15

Before you pay aos fees , you have to do ds261 select agent form online

Have you received an approval from USCIS and that they have already forwarded your case to NVC?
If yes, Call them after 42 days from the date of USCIS approval.
