  • CR1 visa process, question about I864

    Hi everyone,

Hope I can get some advice as I am starting to panic a little.....

I'm going through to process on moving to the US with my wife (American citizen)

I-130 has been filled and approved.

Case number letter has been received with link on what to do next here: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/iv_ap...tructions.html

1, DS 260 completed and filled online as instructed.
2, All documents are at hand and present
3, medical exam has taken place
4, Notification of readiness has been sent (19/01/2015)

At no point have I been instructed or asked to file the I-864, (Her father is sponsoring me as my wife doesn't work) have I missed this??

Everything has been processed in London

If I have, please could someone point me in the direction to file it?

    Simon,

If being processed by DCF (Direct Consular Filling), and the National Visa Center step was bypassed, you will be expected to have your sponsorship documents with you when you interview at the Embassy (if not requested before).

Thats perfect Ray, thankyou for confirming that.

After looking round online a little more, all the experiences where the sponsorship documents have been asked for in advance, and NVC dealt cases. Thankyou again.
