UK Citizen needing help visa i130 (american wife)

i am unsure about filling in the i130.
after looking on the government / embassy website about information on the i130
and on this website i have the following questions.

Who fills in the form?

My wife (she is a born USA citizen, working and living there)
or
Myself (born UK citizen, working and living in the UK)

we got married last year in the UK and are currently living apart in our respective countries due to visas
the plan is for myself to move to the USA, so looking into this visa i am unsure who applies for it

do i apply or does my wife? as some of the questions on the visa application don’t make sense if i answer them.
I'm under the impression my wife applies for me? with the petition is this true?

Your wife is the petitioner, as she is the one "petitioning" for your i-130. You, the UK citizen, are the beneficiary, as you will be receiving the visa in the end. Your wife needs to fill out the i-130. On the i-130, where it says "information about you," that is what your wife fills in about herself. Where it says "information about your relative," that it where you would put in information about yourself, since you are the relative of you wife who is petitioning for your visa.
