I have submitted all the documents including affidavit of support......to NVC....this is the response i got it from nvc

_1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________
You need to complete Form DS-261, Online Choice of Address and Agent. Go to our website
ceac.state.gov to complete the DS-261.


My question is that i already filled ds-261....before sending these document and paid AOS....still they have asked again to refile it....also how long it take....IV to be invoiced

Resubmit the DS-261. This is happening to many NVC processing packages, and resubmitting the DS-261 seems to fix it and get the visa fee bill in motion.

A couple of weeks after the DS-261 is received, the $325 bill should show (2-3 weeks). It has been much longer, but timeframe seems to be much faster now.

I had the same problem. Around 5 weeks after I submitted the ds-261, still no progress. I called the NVC hotline and they said I still had to submit DS-261. The operator then proceeded to take care of it over the phone for me. I got my IV invoice about 3-4 days later.

My wife and i did the i130 and ds 260. we are being told we need to do the Ds 261. i cannot find it any where to fill out. when I go to the site on their page it wont let me access the form. Her interview is next week and i still cannot get it.

Once i completed the form and clicked on Review button , i got "Application Error" message.
