Incorrect birth date

Hi guys,
I need help. My fiance came in with an I-94 student visa 5 yrs ago. His visa has since expired. His visa has an incorrect date of birth but his passport has the correct DOB. The consulate made this error. His DL has the incorrect DOB since the DOT told him he has to use the visa's DOB.

What can we do at this time to get the DOB corrected? Have any of you had this issue?

I-94 is the form the person is supposed to fill in flight while coming to US. How can US consulate make the error?

Visa is the stamp in the passport which is made by US consulate?
