my husband enter the united states illegally about 10 yrs ago we have been together for 9 yrs about 2 yrs ago he got arrested and was going to get deported we hire a lawyer who stop his deportation by submitting a u visa application. since I am a citizen she suggested I file a petition for him as well incase the u visa was denied. well the u visa was approve but they cant give him a visa until they have more available but that only gives him permission to be here we want to get him a green card. we got responds from the i130 went to the interview and they approved it and send it to the NVC so my question is whats next our lawyer has mess up so many times and forgot to send documents so many time that I think she is to embarrass to continue with our case we have paid her about eight thousand dollars she said that that only included the visa u and i130 anything else is more money. its been about 3 weeks since they approve the i130 when will we get contacted by NVC everything I read indicates the person being petition is in there country how does it work if he is here. how much more money will we have to spend and how long does the remainder of the process take. please help!!!

Passport sent to embassy how long do we have to wait
Hi to all, i wanted to ask if anyone knows how long does my girl have to wait or what's the next step. She had her enterview last year. March 7 2014. And had her I 601 approved March 17 2015. And she was asked for new doctor exams and birth sertificate and police report. She sent those may 12 2015. Her passport was requested may 19. She sent it same day. Now CEAC status shows and been showing from May 12. Now we wander what's next? Can anybody help or had same case. She is an unmerried daughter of a U.S. Resident. ( at the time of petition, now citizen)
