VAC & IV interview - AOS needed?

I am a USC and applied for a IV for my parents and submitted all the paperwork including Affidavit of Support and supporting documents (pay stubs, tax return, bank statement, etc) to the NVC. As per the http://photos.state.gov/libraries/mu...vision_001.pdf checklist we received with the interview letter and the http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-ni...supportingdocs VAC information page for Mumbai, they both state that the NVC will forward the AOS to the Mumbai embassy and my parents do not need to bring a copy with them. The interview is next week and I am nervous that they will be asked to produce this. It is going to be a pain to send the I-864 along with all the supporting/financial documents over to them.

Can someone confirm that the VAC and IV interview procedures do not ask for the I-864 since the embasssy should already have it on file?

Bombay interview AOS docs requirement

As per a PDF file from Dept Of Tate website, for Bombay, if you have sent 864 to NVC, you do not have to carry the same. You can download the full PDF file from the net. If you are not able to get it, post your e mail ID on the net and I can send you the the file.
