  • IR5 parents visa - Affidavit Of Support fees

As immediate relatives, for father and mother of US citizen, two applications are submitted and two cases created at NVC. NVC website states 2 X 120 $ has to be paid total that is each case is to be paid $120. But NVC helpline operator on phone told me that one $120 payment will do.

    There is a contradiction.

    Which is correct ?

If the parents' cases are linked (and they probably are), when you pay the $120 sponsorship processing fee on one, both cases will automatically show as the fee "in process." If petitions were received at different dates by the NVC, they could require separate $120 fees for each, but if the NVC operator told you one fee would cover both, she probably confirmed hat both parents' cases were linked.

IR5 Visa - Affidavit of support fees payment

      Ray,

Thanks for your insight. I have received AOS Fee bill via e Mail. But the same is not showing up in the payment portal and therefore I am unable to make on line payment. Many have advised against payment by check. What is the best method to trigger uploading of AOS Fee bill to payment portal ?

        Father,Mother Ds260

Things i know: i have to fill separate Ds260 for parents. I already paid AOS fees i am waiting on IV fees when i can pay online by the time i am looking at DS260 sample. I am very confused on some points like the common one is your spouse immigrating with you what should i fill for father & mother my understanding say i have to fill NO because both father and mother have separate petitions separate i130 both are principal applicant in there own i130 petitions. Please suggest
