  • Regarding DS-260

I want to know if i do not fill the DS-260 for a particular person if he/she is not willing to come.. And we submit the DS-260 for rest of member and keep that particular person DS-260 as INCOMPLETE than do NVC will ask to fill it as compulsory.?? Or will process further for visa interview.??

If the person you aren't completing the DS-260 for is the "primary" immigrant (who had been petitioned), the derivative family members cannot get visas.

If the person you aren't completing the DS-260 for is a derivative household member, it won't affect visa eligibility for the other family members.

      Regarding affidavit of support

If the derivatives member name is there in affiliate of support detail and DS-260 is incomplete than do they ask question about that person .?? Or do they deny rest of the members visa.??

If the primary applicant's NVC requirements are not completed, none of the derivative family members can get visas.

If the primary applicant's NVC requirements are completed, but a derivative family member is opting out, the NVC should be informed that the family member is not planning to immigrate.

Hi Rohil, in your message you refer to 'derivaties child protection act form ' . Can you please let me know what are those forms. In my case I want to include name of a boy whose biological age is 25 but CSPA age is 19.5. Hope you can give some guidance.

                    TIA, Raky
