I hope this is the right section.
I've already applied for a visa in the past (successfully) because I was an Exchange Student from France to the US for a full year. However, I would like to look into other kinds of visas for Entrepreneur.
My goal is to start a restaurant franchise in the US 2 or 3 years from now. I don't know how realistic it is and that's why I'm gathering info about visa applications.
Knowing that I'm a French citizen, what kind of visa would enable me to open my business there and stay for a few years? I believe I may need to obtain a temporary visa first, which could turn into a permanent residency if certain criteria are met. Am I wrong?
