Hey guys,
I am extremely stressed out because my sister applied for her husband's immigrant visa in 2012. There were some problems with documents and between back and forth it took two years. Now that ds -260 was applied online, we got an email saying this is a termination letter since no one contacted them in one year. I thought filing the ds-260 is also a communication channel is it not?
We made a lot of mistakes and now 3 years later her husband has not had a chance to come... He is in Islamabad Pakistan.
I emailed NVC back not to terminate our process because it will take more time and we will pay again. Is there any chance they will not ask for fees again? What can we do to resolve these issues? This is very complicated and im afraid of marrying a non-citizen because of these issues.
