Hi everyone, I hope someone from here could guide us through.
My husband and I were married for almost 4 years now here in the Philippines and we have two kids together. He knew from the very beginning that he is still married in America to another filipina woman whom she met there (in America) But we were told by a lawyer that he can marry me here in the Philippines even when he is still legally married in the States. Also, we were told by a **** visa consultant ( we don't know she is **** at that time) that my husband's marriage in the States is not recorded, she even show us my husband's singleness paper from U.S embassy. We were both just so happy about the news so we proceed on getting married here in the Philippines. We lived together since 2010-2015 of April. Now my husband is back in the states to established a proper job and petition me and the kids to be with him in the States.Now, here is our problem, my husband found out that his wife file for a divorce last year and this week he needs to be in the court for the finalization of their divorce.
Will we have a problem in applying for a spousal visa to come to the states? Because their divorce is finalized just this year and we were married 2012?
