Income required

Different question to the married in USA query I posed last week (which if there is any guidance available feel free to reply to that post). What income does a spouse have to show if they are sponsoring someone? Is it $20,000+? Does it affect the amount required depending on how many people are in the household. It would only be me, my wife and a toddler under 3 years of age.

It is based on everyone in the household so if it will be three then it looks like you need to make around $25k
