We are waiting for more than 20 months! Please share your thoughts!
Hi All, I'm gonna keep it simple and short:
-- Filed I-130 for my wife back in January 2014 ( I was LPR)
-- USCIS approved our case in a month and sent to NVC
-- On March 2015 NVC asked for DS-260 & 261 plus AOS and fees
-- After all we received NOA from NVC early April 2015
-- As soon as our case became current I was almost done with my citizenship process (July 2015). I have not sent any citizenship proofs but they upgraded our cases based on my Citizenship Application to CR1.
-- Almost Every other day I call NVC but every time just get one answer: CASE IS COMPLETED AND WAIT FOR INTERVIEW DATE GET SCHEDULED. Our interview will be held in Ankara consulate.
Long story short, when I check embassy interview backlog, I see some cases initiated after ours but got interview date scheduled, which really does not make sense after 20 months waiting in line!
You know how annoying and frustrating this process is! Please share your thoughts or similar experience with us! Thanks,
