Can anybody suggest me what is the procedure to drop or remove the DERIVATIVE name from the case in detail.. .? It will be thankfull to all.

You don't really need to do anything, but when the approved petition reaches the National Visa Center, you should send a lettter, with proof of your petitioner or primary beneficiary status, askng for the removal so that the completion is not held up waiting for fees and documents for the derivative family member.

That's the best move you can make for now. The NVC might just ignore your request and keep the family member on record, in which case you may have to reiterate your request during the NVC processing, or the NVC may send you a confirmation of its acceptance of your request.

The NVC might not reply to you at all, or perhaps about 10-20 days later.

I have E-mailed them 10 days ago. We just asked them they said we havent got any mail but it will take 45 days to process. This what make me worry. Should i post the letter too on safe side.??Comment
