Green Card Application for L1 B Individual visa holder
Hi Friends,
I am on L1 B Individual visa, which is expiring in May 2017 and that's when I will complete 5 years (may be 6 months more). To apply for a Green Card, do I have to apply for H1 first and only after I get H1, I can apply for GC? Or while on L1, I can still apply for GC and say if my 140 is approved before May 2017 (current L1 visa expiry) I will be out of H1 quota requirements and will automatically get the next extension as H1 visa extension?
