On Ap for 2 months now

Our interview was perfect the only thing we were missing was the medical because we could not get a appointment before our interview we were advise to attend our interview anyways everything went great the council gave us a pass back and told us to bring back the medical with passport we did its been 2 months on the 16 of this month and the status update date has changed twice but still on administrative processing my fear is that the medical and police records expire and have to do it all over again the wait is really taking a toll on us specially me .does anyone know or similar situation how long they take ? And what does it mean when the status update changes ? Thanks
