  • Living outside USA

    Hi folks,
    Can you help us?
This is all confusing to say the least!!
My wife is a USC and myself a British Citizen,we are currently living in The Republic of Ireland.
My wife(usc) as a 5 year RC (resident card for Ireland)seeing as I am European.
She is currently unemployed while Im employed as a Truck driver so I am the main provider.
My question is can we move to USA together from here even though she isnt working?
Can my wages count even though Im not a USC? Even though we are outside the States does she have to be the bread winner?
We dont want to separate through the process as we have been married for 3 yrs and we both miss the heartland of USA.

    many thx
    Paul

Your wife has to petition you for Permanent Resident status in the U.S. She has to be the primary sponsor, even without income, but can use a co-sponsor to meet the immigration/sponsorship requirements.
