I desperately need some help/advice.
Hi everyone!
My wife and I just got email notification that both her I-129f and I-130 were processed at the same time.
We have spoken to our lawyers about it and I owe them 2000 USD before they can send off any forms for the NVC.
She also said that the Notice of Action that would tell us where the interview would take place, would come within 30 days. By that time I will be in the UK.
My problem is this.
I am a US citizen and she is a UK citizen. We got married in Denmark.
I need to have some kind of probable answer on where our interview might be.
If they were processed at the same time, would the I-129f be closed?
If that is the case, then would the interview take place in the UK?
Also from the day the NVC receives our paper work, how long does it take them to get an interview?
If it takes 4 months then it is useless for me to go back, money wise, to the UK so soon.
I am scheduled to leave for the UK on Jan 12th.
If the interview is in Denmark, I will not be able to afford paying the lawyer from the UK along with expenses to Denmark.
I would have to cancel my flight.
I can only get an appointment with the lawyer on the 29th of December.
Please any advice would be great.
I am so strapped for cash and my wife is unable to find a job.
We really want to be back together in the UK but it might boil down to cancelling the flight to get her back the US faster.
