I am submitting the AOS for my wife and will wait until I move back to the US next month to start my new job before doing so while the family remain in the UK. My income for the past three years does not meet the minimum poverty levels but only because the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion has been applied. My new job is well above these requirements. I will submit a letter from my employer along with the first pay slip but am unsure if the fact that it is a new job will have a negative effect? I will only be able to supply one W2. Will it be necessary to provide additional evidence such as proof of assets or will this be enough? Would be nice to know if somebody has any experience with this. Thank you.
