Hi,
If anyone from India gone through the situation of changing Passport due to Birth place diff from birth certificate. Though the Distt is same the birth place mentioned in the passport is different. I have filled up new application form for the change in passport. Went for the interview along with original birth certificate and an affidavit stating that it was a mistake from my side. now they have cancelled the passport and told me to visit the passport office in RK Puram Delhi.
If anybody has overcome this situation please help as we have to submit the DS 260 soon my priority date is Jan 2004.
